PM CARES Fund: Financial Health & Operational Insights

The PM CARES Fund (Prime Minister’s Citizen Assistance and Relief in Emergency Situations Fund) was established in March 2020 as a dedicated public charitable trust aimed at offering immediate relief during public health emergencies and natural disasters across India. Relying purely on voluntary donations rather than government allocations, the fund operates with a mandate separate from statutory state funds.
